About the role

As an Amazon Web Services (AWS) Senior Solutions Architect within the Strategic Accounts segment, you will partner with our most valuable customers to design cloud architectures utilizing AWS services. Your responsibilities include helping customers solve business challenges such as rapidly releasing products/services to the market or building an elastic, scalable, cost-optimized application. You will engage with product owners to influence product direction and help customers tap into new markets by utilizing AWS Services.

Responsibilities

  • Help customers tap into new markets by utilizing AWS Services
  • Look for patterns and trends that can be broadly applied across an industry segment or a set of customers
  • Drive revenue growth across a specific customer
  • Help organizations understand and implement advanced cloud-based solutions
  • Migrate and scale existing workloads in the cloud
  • Shape and execute a strategy to build knowledge and broad use of AWS
  • Interact, communicate, and partner with other teams within AWS such as services teams, marketing, and professional services
  • Represent your team to executive management

Requirements

  • 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
  • 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
  • 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
  • Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
  • Experience working with end user or developer communities
  • Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners
  • Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP and Cloud ERP Private
  • Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics
