Senior Solutions Architect, Strategic Accounts, Strategic Accounts

About the role

As an AWS Senior Solutions Architect within the Strategic Accounts segment, you will partner with our most valuable customers to design cloud architectures utilizing AWS services. Your responsibilities include helping customers solve business challenges such as rapidly releasing products/services to the market or building an elastic, scalable, cost-optimized application. You will also influence product direction and help customers tap into new markets by leveraging AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Partner with strategic accounts to design and implement cloud architectures using AWS services
• Help customers solve business challenges through advanced cloud-based solutions
• Engage with product owners to influence product direction and drive innovation
• Identify patterns and trends that can be broadly applied across an industry segment or set of customers
• Enhance your own body of knowledge and contribute to the broader use of AWS
• Shape and execute strategies to build knowledge and broad use of AWS
• Interact, communicate, and partner with various teams within AWS, including services teams, marketing, and professional services
• Represent your team to executive management

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking experience
• Knowledge of SAP systems (like SAP Business Suite, S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse, SAP HANA, SAP Business Objects, etc.) and their architecture and infrastructure needs
• Experience working with end user or developer communities
• Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners
• Experience in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud Platform, SAP Cloud ERP, and Cloud ERP Private
• Experience in SAP clean core design concepts, including design and build using non-SAP technologies in domains such as Generative / Agentic AI, and data & analytics

Qualifications

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage with Technical Architects, Cloud Architects, Directors, and VPs
• Technical breadth complimented by technical depth in AI/ML Frameworks, or MLOps
• Business aptitude to articulate the business value of the AWS platform and services

Skills

• Technical expertise in cloud computing, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics
• Ability to influence product direction and drive innovation
• Experience in SAP systems and clean core design concepts
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
