Senior Solutions Architect – AWS WWPS Partner Team (Defense & Maritime), WWPS N/R SI Solution Architects

About the role

As a Senior Solutions Architect within the AWS WWPS Partner team, you will have the opportunity to help shape and deliver on a strategy to build broad use of AWS services including IoT, high-performance computing (HPC), advanced analytics, and AI/ML directly with our ecosystem of systems integrators, consulting and technology partners.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Defining implementation architectures across compute, data, machine learning, and operational tooling
• Responding to RFPs
• Developing deep expertise in AWS technologies as well as broad know-how around how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform
• Being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services
• Driving architectural decisions across multiple concurrent workstreams and ensuring AWS is positioned as the strategic infrastructure partner of choice during critical scaling periods

Requirements

• 8+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics) experience
• 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures experience
• 10+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience
• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners
• Experience with IoT, HPC, AI/ML workloads, data engineering pipelines, and operational tooling on AWS
• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries experience

Qualifications

• 5+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience
• Experience managing relationships with SAP customers and partners
• Experience with IoT, HPC, AI/ML workloads, data engineering pipelines, and operational tooling on AWS
• Hands-on experience managing complex multi-node supply chains with zero tolerance for failure
• U.S. Navy Operations or Logistics background, or equivalent military experience in mission-critical systems

Base salary range: $153,600.00 - $207,800.00 USD annually
