Partner Solutions Architect – AWS WWPS Partner Team, WWPS N/R SI Solution Architects

About the role

As a Solutions Architect within the AWS WWPS Partner team, you will help shape and deliver strategies to build broad use of AWS services, including AI/ML, advanced analytics, and HPC, directly with our ecosystem of systems integrators, consulting, and technology partners.

Responsibilities

• Owning the technical engagement and ultimate success around specific implementation projects
• Defining implementation architectures across compute, data, machine learning, and operational tooling
• Responding to Request for Proposals (RFPs)
• Developing deep expertise in AWS technologies and broad know-how of how applications and services are constructed using the AWS platform
• Being a subject matter expert on security as it relates to customer applications and services
• Driving architectural decisions across multiple concurrent workstreams and ensuring AWS is positioned as the strategic infrastructure partner of choice during critical scaling periods

Requirements

• 5+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting in the software or Internet industries
• 4+ years of design, implementation, or consulting in applications and infrastructures
• 4+ years of specific technology domain areas (e.g. software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics)
• Bachelor's degree, or Cloud Technology Certification (such as Solutions Architecture, Cloud Security Professional or Cloud DevOps Engineering)

Qualifications

• Experience working within software development or Internet-related industries
• Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud
• Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting
• Experience with AWS technologies
