About the Opportunity

The Senior Software Engineer - Hosted Web is responsible for building and maintaining frontend systems and associated server-side processes that enable booking and purchasing for thousands of wellness businesses. This role contributes to the organization by developing scalable, reliable features that directly impact customer experiences and business operations. The position involves collaboration across teams, leadership in architecture decisions, and innovation in engineering practices, including AI experimentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain performant, reliable frontend and server-side systems
• Collaborate with Product, Design, and Marketing to deliver features from concept to deployment
• Advocate for engineering best practices such as automated testing and peer reviews
• Lead architectural decisions prioritizing scalability and simplicity
• Debug production issues using telemetry and observability tools
• Mentor team members and promote an inclusive engineering culture
• Drive AI innovation across workflows and technologies

Requirements

• Over 5 years of senior-level experience in large-scale web application development
• Proficiency in TypeScript and modern React, including React Server Components
• Extensive experience with Next.js (App Router) or similar SSR/full-stack frameworks
• Skilled in API design, microservices architecture, and full-stack development
• Experience with .NET, C#, AWS
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Strong testing practices including unit and integration tests
• Proficient with observability tools like New Relic
• Familiarity with agile software development processes
• Ability to manage complexity and make confident engineering decisions
• Experience with agentic development tools
• Excellent communication skills

Pay Range and Compensation Package

The base salary range for this position in the United States is $151,000 to $201,000 USD. Total compensation may include performance bonus, benefits, and other incentives.
