(Remote) Senior Software Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, construct, test, and debug technical solutions according to engineering standards
• Provide accurate effort estimates and meet defined schedules
• Identify deficiencies in systems and processes, and recommend improvements
• Resolve high-complexity development issues
• Enforce development deadlines and schedules
• Facilitate task prioritization for junior developers
• Utilize AI-assisted development tools to enhance the software development process

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field with 3 years of experience, or Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience
• 7+ years of commercial product development experience
• Proficiency in RPG & CL, DB2 SQL, SQL Procedure, and User Defined Functions
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming and design principles
• Experience with agile software development in a distributed environment
• Technical responsibility for shipping a software product
• Comprehensive understanding of various testing types and software version control

Pay

$110,000 – $135,000 annually
