Senior Software Engineer- Blockchain Platform (Wallets, Liquidity & Bridging)

For our client, we are seeking a Senior Software Engineer- Blockchain Platform (Wallets, Liquidity & Bridging) to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will focus on building and evolving critical backend infrastructure that supports digital asset wallet, liquidity, and transaction movement capabilities. You will work across distributed systems, reliability, and platform architecture to help ensure secure, correct, and scalable operations in a highly regulated environment. The position partners closely with trading, custody, and other engineering teams to improve service integration and modernize legacy systems. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $186,065 – $218,900 annually Responsibilities Own the design and build of Go backend services for wallet and liquidity operations Develop distributed systems for managing transaction lifecycles across blockchain protocols Enhance reliability and observability of wallet services through systematic fixes Collaborate with trading, custody, and other teams to integrate wallet services effectively Implement architecture improvements, transitioning legacy systems to microservices Support engineering quality with thorough code reviews and architectural guidance Qualifications 5+ years of software engineering experience, especially in Go programming language Proficient in designing and operating service-oriented distributed systems Experience with production backend services requiring high reliability and correctness standards Knowledge of blockchain technologies, including Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Solana Experience in breaking down monolithic systems into modular microservices Strong collaboration skills with a proven track record of driving projects autonomously Ability to use generative AI responsibly to enhance workflow and output quality Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Eligibility for equity and bonuses Flexible working environment with potential for remote work Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
