Job Summary

Rippling gives businesses one place to run HR, IT, and Finance. For the first time ever, you can manage and automate every part of the employee lifecycle in a single system.

About the Role

We use machine learning and large language models to build software which helps our internal GTM teams operate their business effectively. This manifests as either features inside of existing Rippling products or new products. In this role, you'll play the role of a backend engineer working across the stack (backend services, data pipelines, APIs) and will even have the opportunity to contribute to more ML specific tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, code and test backend software systems.
  • Ensure operational excellence and scale our data platform capabilities.
  • Work with other teams to build AI & data-driven GTM products
  • Maintain - Proactive deal risks and insights
  • Play - Run sales strategies
  • Research - Scale your research
  • Outreach - Launch automated campaigns

Requirements

  • 6+ years of industry experience building software at some (or all) levels of the stack (foundational infra, backend, ux).
  • Experience developing user-facing applications.
  • Experience in the Ads, Personalization, Sales, or similar domain.
  • An interest and/or experience in creating agentic AI and LLM use cases.
  • You are comfortable with hands-on programming.
  • You have a knack for communicating complex technical ideas with clarity and precision.

Pay

The pay range for this role is: 159,000 - 278,250 USD per year (US Tier 1)
