About the role

The Sr. Social Media Manager leads our Sr. Social Media Content Creator and agency partner to drive excellence across our social media channels. They support our existing channels and stand up new channels, focusing on TikTok and YouTube. They manage the agency relationship, oversee the social content calendar, and launch and scale an influencer/UGC program.

Responsibilities

  • Strategy Ownership: Own and drive the adoption of our social media strategy to drive awareness, growth, and engagement.
  • Agency Ownership: Own the external agency relationship day to day through active management and meet with them at bi-weekly status meetings.
  • Influencer/UGC Partner Ownership: Launch and scale our UGC/influencer program to increase brand awareness, customer acquisition, and authentic content creation.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with creative, editorial, and brand teams to ensure consistent brand tone, messaging, and targeting across all channels.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; or 5-10 years experience as a social media manager on brands with 250k+ followers in the fitness, apparel, lifestyle, or nutrition brands.
  • Experience leading strategy with the ability to read and react to brand-relevant cultural outputs.
  • Experience standing up and managing an influencer program with quantifiable results.
  • Experience analyzing and evaluating KPIs on social media and turning that analysis into actionable strategy.
  • Experience partnering with creative team members on content calendar, ideation, and execution that is on brand.

Qualifications

  • Education and/or experience: Bachelor's degree or 5-10 years experience as a social media manager.
  • Experience: 5-10 years experience as a social media manager on brands with 250k+ followers in the fitness, apparel, lifestyle, or nutrition brands.

Benefits

  • Exceptional compensation package including base salary range of $115,000-$125,000 annually plus bonus potential.
