Senior Social Media Manager

About the role

The Senior Social Media Manager at Stand Together is responsible for leading the strategic planning, execution, and oversight of digital campaigns for Stand Together’s partners, including Americans for Prosperity (AFP) and AFP Foundation (AFP Foundation).

Responsibilities

• Manage social media strategy and content for Stand Together’s partners.
• Partner with AFP’s public policy experts, grassroots teams, and federal affairs team to educate Americans on critical public policy issues.
• Drive advocacy and accountability efforts through social media strategy, content creation, and data analysis.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Policy, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in social media management, public relations, or a related field.
• Proven track record of managing and executing successful social media campaigns.
• Experience working with non-profit organizations and understanding of public policy issues.
• Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly and concisely.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
• Knowledge of SEO, content marketing, and social media analytics tools.
• Experience with content creation, copywriting, and graphic design.
• Understanding of social media algorithms and how to optimize content for maximum reach.
• Experience with project management tools and software.
