Senior Site Manager

About the role

The Senior Site Manager will take the helm of a new 75-unit traditionally built affordable housing development in Maidstone, Kent. This role is pivotal, as you will be responsible for overseeing the project from inception to completion, ensuring that all aspects are delivered to the highest standards. Initially, with the groundworker operating as the Principal Contractor, you will have the invaluable time to integrate into the business and familiarise yourself with the systems and processes. Your leadership will be crucial in driving the project forward, maintaining timelines, and ensuring quality and safety standards are met.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire site operations, ensuring the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate and manage subcontractors and site staff.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Liaise with clients, architects, and engineers to ensure project specifications are met.
• Implement and maintain quality control procedures.
• Resolve any on-site issues promptly and efficiently.
• Conduct regular site inspections and audits.
• Manage site documentation and records.
• Foster a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager in residential developments.

Pay

£70,000 – £75,000 per annum
