What does a Senior Shopper Marketing Specialist do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Acts as Sr. Specialist in respect to Shopper Insights initiatives. Uses relevant shopper and consumer data, insights and trends to generate revenue growing initiatives for customers. Responsibilities:
- Analyze and report on business opportunities within channels and specific customers
- Develop and recommend customer-specific shopper marketing campaigns to drive incremental revenue
- Customer insights SME for SCC. Contribute insights to define selling strategy within all channels of business to better connect with all shoppers at retail
- Gather and organize information using industry sources (publications, trade sites, etc.) and proprietary tracking studies to be used for marketing campaigns
- Performs other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in business, marketing required
- 4+ years’ experience in business analytics in consumer goods industry preferred
- 4+ years’ market research of consumer demographics or category preferred
- Statistics, shopper segmentation, gap analysis
- Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word applications
- Identify opportunities and gaps based on business fundamentals and application of qualitative and quantitative data
- Able to communicate complex shopper information and implications both verbally and written
