Senior SHAREM Exercise Planner
About the role
Join our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team, dedicated to guiding clients through critical moments and transformational initiatives. We offer integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services across various areas including valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability.
Responsibilities
- Cook up objectives, plans, and logistics with external operational staff.
- Develop test and data collection plans.
- Participate in planning conferences supporting exercises.
- Draft Test Plan/OPORD, Data Collection Plan and Analysis Plan based on input from planning conferences.
- During exercises, assist ships' company in comprehending and executing plans, ensuring they collect pertinent data for exercise reconstruction and analysis.
- Communicate exercise results orally and in written formats to representatives of naval commands, engineering labs, and program offices.
- Provide insight during ad hoc workshops and conferences.

Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of US Navy experience.
- 4+ years of experience in planning naval undersea warfare (USW) exercises.
- Active Secret security clearance required.
- Able to travel 0-30% based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve.
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree (ideally in a technical discipline).
- Capability to prepare technically correct reports and correspondence.
- Proficiency with common productivity software, including the Microsoft Office suite.

For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in San Diego, California, Deloitte is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $93,200 to $155,400. You may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to the rules governing the program, where an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
