Senior SEO Specialist

About the role

The Sr. SEO Specialist at AutoZone is responsible for developing and implementing SEO technical strategies to drive organic growth across traditional and emerging AI-driven search experiences. Key responsibilities include keyword research, content management, on-page optimization, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Keyword research and content management
• On-page optimization and performance monitoring
• Reporting and analysis using SEO tools like Adobe Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, and others
• Collaboration with SEO team, internal stakeholders, and agencies to develop and execute SEO strategy
• AI search measurement and evaluation of search performance
• Content and on-page optimization strategy development
• Communication of strategies, data, and recommendations to cross-functional teams
• Staying updated with SEO trends, news, and best practices
• Coordination of SEO roadmap and tactics with vendors and agencies

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Merchandising, Advertising, Communications or related field
• 5+ years of SEO experience
• 5+ years’ experience with web analytics tools such as Adobe Analytics
• 5+ years with SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, SEMrush, Google Search Console, and SimilarWeb
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate data and drive meaningful action
• Experience with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS
• Well-organized, high attention to detail, deadline-oriented, and a team player
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
