Senior Scientist
Description
Utilize advanced quantitative image analysis tools to evaluate biomarkers and support translational research initiatives. Design, execute, and interpret experiments using primary human cellular and tissue-based models. Generate scientific insights that inform target validation, biomarker strategies, and mechanism-of-action studies across multiple disease areas. Leverage both in vivo and ex vivo model systems to support translational biology objectives. Collaborate closely with cross-functional research teams to advance program goals and scientific decision-making. Analyze and interpret complex biological datasets, including RNA, protein, and omics-based data. Support biomarker assay development and validation efforts. Manage external research partnerships, including Contract Research Organizations (CROs), academic collaborators, and scientific vendors. Present findings and recommendations to internal stakeholders and project teams.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Molecular Biology, Immunology, Cell Biology, or a related scientific discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience within biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life sciences environments
- Strong scientific background in Immunology and Inflammation, with prior experience supporting inflammatory disease research programs
- Demonstrated expertise with quantitative image analysis platforms; HALO experience is required
- Extensive experience utilizing both in vivo animal models and ex vivo primary human cellular/tissue systems to drive translational research and biomarker discovery efforts
- Hands-on experience measuring RNA and protein expression, including biomarker development, assay implementation, and omics data generation and analysis
- Proven ability to effectively manage CROs, external vendors, and academic research collaborations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work effectively in cross-functional scientific environments
