About the role

ImmunEdge is a biopharmaceutical company dedicated to developing novel therapeutics for patients with serious or life-threatening diseases. Our team of experts in immunology and drug development is pioneering innovative approaches to target and modulate key molecular pathways that regulate the immune response.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, execute, and interpret in vivo efficacy, PK/PD, and mechanistic studies in relevant oncology and immunology models
  • Develop and optimize ex-vivo assays, including MSD, ELISA, RNAseq, and functional readouts to support target biology and mechanism of action
  • Perform and analyze multi-parameter flow cytometry experiments, including panel design, staining optimization, acquisition, and advanced data analysis to characterize immune and tumor cell populations
  • Collaborate with discovery, translational, and biomarker teams to integrate in vivo and ex vivo data and guide program strategy
  • Analyze complex datasets and communicate findings clearly to cross-functional stakeholders with diverse scientific backgrounds
  • Contribute to study planning, experimental timelines, and data-driven decision making for program advancement
  • Maintain accurate, well-organized experimental records while ensuring a safe, compliant, and reproducible lab environment
  • Identify opportunities to improve in vivo and ex vivo assay platforms and evaluate emerging technologies relevant to ImmunEdge’s pipeline

Qualifications

  • Ph.D. in Immunology, Pharmacology, Oncology, Molecular and Cellular Biology, or a related field; or M.S. with additional relevant industry experience
  • 5+ years of industry experience in drug discovery or development, with significant hands-on experience in in vivo models
  • Strong technical expertise in:
    • In vivo pharmacology and disease models (oncology and/or immunology preferred)
    • Flow cytometry (panel design, immune phenotyping, functional assays, data analysis)
    • MSD, ELISA, and ex-vivo-based functional assays
  • Experience integrating in vivo and ex-vivo data to support mechanism of action and translational hypotheses
  • Proficiency with standard laboratory techniques such as ELISA, qPCR, western blotting, and cytokine assays
  • Ability to independently plan and execute experiments, troubleshoot complex problems, and rigorously interpret scientific data
  • Strong collaboration, communication, technical writing, and organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, supportive start-up environment

Preferred Qualifications (Plus)

  • Experience with PK/PD or bioanalytical assays
  • Experience writing technical reports for IND-enabling studies
  • Familiarity with immuno-oncology targets or immune-modulating therapeutics
  • Prior CRO management or cross-functional project experience
