Senior Scientist

Responsibilities

• Design and execute analyses of various traits in population cohorts to support research and partnership evaluations
• Integrate analyses of genetics and EHR data for target identification and biomarker discovery
• Collaborate with biology, clinical, and business teams to derive actionable insights from data
• Communicate findings through presentations and reports, contributing to scientific publications and conferences

Qualifications

• PhD in Statistical Genetics, Human Genetics, Computational Biology, or related field with 5+ years of industry experience, particularly in rare disease genetics
• Hands-on experience with UK Biobank and All of Us data, demonstrating understanding of their architecture and data types
• Extensive experience in QC, analysis, and interpretation of human genetics data including single-variant and gene-based association analyses
• Proficient in Python and experienced with AI-powered tools to enhance analytical productivity and reliability
• Experience with inferring disease incidence and prevalence from genetic data
