Senior Scheduler
About the role
The Senior Scheduler will support the planning and delivery of large, complex capital and infrastructure programs for a major public-sector client based in Seattle, WA. The role involves developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules to support effective planning, coordination, and progress reporting across multiple projects and stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain detailed, logic-driven schedules for complex capital construction projects
- Create, cost-load, and resource-load schedules, including labor and equipment planning
- Prepare detailed project schedules, time-scaled charts, and sequencing diagrams
- Establish schedule baselines and monitor progress against approved plans
- Perform schedule variance analysis, critical path analysis, and time impact analyses
- Evaluate schedule changes and recommend mitigation and recovery strategies
- Review and analyze contractor-submitted schedules and coordinate required revisions
- Track key milestones related to permitting, inspections, commissioning, equipment installation, and other project dependencies
- Provide clear, timely schedule reports with actionable insights and recommendations
- Support project teams through effective communication of sequencing, risks, and constraints
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field
- 10 years of experience in construction project scheduling
- Proven experience scheduling large-scale, complex infrastructure projects
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 with cost and resource loading
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, and sequencing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated accuracy, reliability, and attention to detail in prior roles
Preferred Experience
- Working on active/occupied hospital campuses or phased healthcare projects
- Knowledge of ICRA protocols, cleanroom construction, and validation processes
- Experience with life sciences, pharmaceutical, or laboratory facilities
- Familiarity with regulatory bodies and compliance standards (e.g., Joint Commission, AHJ)
- Professional certifications such as PMP, PSP, CCM
