Your role
- Develop, maintain and optimize detailed project schedules.
- Monitor schedule performance and variance; provide regular status updates to project manager.
- Perform Critical Path Analysis, identify and analyze critical paths/activities to ascertain project completion in time and in budget, including forecasting delays and evaluation of alternative scenarios.
- Lead schedule update and review meetings.
- Identify schedule risk and opportunities.
- Analyze schedule impacts resulting from change orders or scope modifications.
- Support cost/schedule integration, including contractor schedules, and collaborate with Project Controls to ensure accurate progress measurement.
- Will be required to travel to Birmingham, AL, as needed
About you
- Minimum 7 years of industrial project scheduling experience required.
- Primavera P6 experience required.
- Preferred experience in power plant scheduling.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across functions.
- Bachelor's degree in construction, Quantity Surveying or a related field, plus seven years relevant experience.
- Must be highly articulate, have clear and analytical approach to problem solving, and strong decision-making abilities.
- Must have excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Must have strong to excellent understanding of CPM (Critical Path Method) concepts and calculations; strong to excellent understanding of earned value concepts, calculations, and rules of credit; proficiency in Primavera scheduling products; and experience in analyzing contractor-prepared delay claims.
- Must thoroughly understand and utilize Information Technology in the performance of work including Internet, Intranet, Microsoft Windows OS, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project.
- Certification with AACE, PMI or CMAA is preferred.

Pay
Depending on skills, experience, and geographical location, the expected compensation range is between $130,000 - $170,000 annually.
