About the role

We are a fast-growing startup in New York City that specializes in helping consumer packaged goods (CPG) brands streamline their financial processes and improve forecasting. Our mission is to empower these brands to achieve success on shelves worldwide.

Responsibilities

  • Build target account lists: Identify potential clients and develop detailed prospecting lists.
  • Prospect and run outbound: Engage with decision-makers through targeted, personalized outreach, both written and over the phone.
  • Own your book: Manage a significant portfolio of accounts, prioritize contacts, and generate meaningful pipeline for the sales team.
  • Learn the CPG buyer: Gain deep understanding of how consumer brands operate and the challenges they face.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience: 1+ year meeting and exceeding quota in an SDR/BDR role, or 1+ year in consulting, investment banking, or investing.
  • All-in work ethic: Drive, competitiveness, and enthusiasm for a collaborative, results-driven environment.
  • Sharp communicator: Compelling presence on the phone and in writing, with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
  • Curious and prepared: Ask insightful questions, conduct thorough research, and form independent opinions.
  • Strong follow-through: Prioritize tasks, maintain focus, and ensure commitments are met.
  • Analytical: Measure performance, adapt to feedback, and continuously improve strategies.

Qualifications

  • Experience in CPG or familiarity with consumer brand operations is a plus.

Pay

$160K - $180K

Schedule

This role is based full-time in our New York City (Chelsea) office, with regular travel across the US to conferences, industry events, and customer sites. Relocation assistance is provided.
