Responsibilities
- Lead and manage Sage Intacct Construction implementations and module add-ons with minimal oversight.
- Provide timely client support — resolving or escalating support cases within 24 hours.
- Maintain at least 70% billable utilization by efficiently managing time and client expectations.
- Offer strategic insights to clients on new functionality, helping them plan for the future.
- Document activities clearly and thoroughly on timecards to avoid billing disputes.
- Mentor and guide junior consultants through leveling chats, group discussions, and project support.
- Collaborate with Project Managers and fellow consultants to ensure accurate project plans and timely task completion.
- Identify out-of-scope items, assist with change order creation, and escalate issues as needed.
- Maintain advanced certification in key Sage Intacct modules, including Construction and SCM.
Qualifications
- Required: 5+ years of hands-on Sage Intacct experience, including project implementation and support.
- Advanced certification in Construction and SCM.
- Deep knowledge of the construction industry — its terminology, business operations, and common project structures (general contracting, subcontracting, specialty trades, residential and/or commercial construction).
- Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements independently.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience mentoring or leading teams in a consulting environment.
- Accounting experience in the construction field.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in mid-sized to enterprise-level consulting firms.
- Project management certification or equivalent experience.
- Prior experience with publisher escalation processes.
