About the role
Baker Tilly Advisory Group, LP (BT) is seeking a Sage Intacct Senior Consultant specializing in the Construction/CRE Vertical. This position is remote.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple projects and customers simultaneously in the construction vertical to successfully implement following our prescriptive implementation methodology resulting in in-scope/on-budget/on-time delivery, high customer satisfaction, and successful customer adoption.
- Execute all aspects of the implementation process which includes collaborative consultation with the client, requirements definition, solution design, configuration, unit and integration testing, training, data cleansing, and data migration.
- Maintain deep knowledge of the Sage Intacct software including expertise implementing and using Sage Intacct advanced modules, as well as staying current with the latest product features and enhancements, especially those related to Sage Intacct CRE product functionality.
- Configure and implement the Sage Intacct software based on a thorough understanding of customer-specific business processes as well as industry and system best practices.
- Maintain deep vertical knowledge - the intricacies, terminology, and operational processes of the construction industry, including micro-verticals such as General Contracts, Developers, Specialty Contractors, Home Services, etc.
- Follow a prescriptive implementation approach utilizing templated implementation project plans thus ensuring projects are delivered on time, on budget while optimizing return on investment.
- Utilize and develop less experienced implementation resources providing on-the-job coaching and mentoring.
- Conduct training for customer end-users at all levels of the customer organization and relate system functionality to customer business operations.
- Effectively document customer business requirements into configurable software solutions and business management processes utilizing best practices and visual process flowcharts.
- Respond to customer technical support issues related to the system implementation.
- Understand, design and build industry specific key performance indicators, reports, and dashboards.
- Work in a team-oriented and collaborative environment with Professional Services, Sales, Support, Marketing and Customer Success to effectively coordinate project execution and completion.
- Deliver prompt, concise, and friendly communications while providing high quality service and leadership to align with customer goals and requests.
- Contribute to and use knowledge repository of deployment best practices and enhance tools and repeatability of service delivery.
- Mentor Associate Solution Architects and Solution Architects on processes, Sage Intacct modules and customer/project management.
- Serve as an escalation point for project issues.
- Learn and grow from direct on the job coaching and mentoring along with participating in firm wide learning and development programs – seek knowledge.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Accounting, Business or MIS (candidate must also have general understanding of accounting terms through previous courses or experience).
- Three (3)+ years’ experience providing consulting and implementing Sage Intacct.
- Sage Intacct Certified Implementation Consultant / Sage Intacct Construction Certified Implementation Consultant strongly preferred.
- Vertical industry understanding gained either through operational or accounting involvement in the construction space.
- Consulting experience end-to-end through the entire software delivery life cycle following a process-based methodology or experience as an end user who has gone through a software implementation or upgrade.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP’s, macros, etc.) is preferred for efficient data mapping, integration, and migration of customer data.
- Demonstrated skills in the areas of time management, communication, relationship building, collaboration, and problem solving.
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational and analytical skills, initiative, adaptability.
- Microsoft Suite skills.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
Skills
- Knowledge of Sage Intacct software and its advanced modules.
- Experience in the construction industry, including familiarity with micro-verticals like General Contracts, Developers, Specialty Contractors, Home Services, etc.
- Ability to configure and implement Sage Intacct based on customer-specific business processes and industry best practices.

Pay
The pay rate range for this job position is $85,910 to $162,890. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of relevant factors including but not limited to applicant’s skills, prior experience, qualifications, degrees, professional certifications, work arrangements and geographic location.
