About the role

Amazon is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to serve as the primary escalation point for complex Business-to-Business (B2B) Accounts Receivable (AR) issues within Amazon Health Services.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary escalation owner for complex, high-value, or sensitive B2B AR disputes, billing discrepancies, and collections issues that cannot be resolved through standard processes
• Partner with the invoice processing, collections, and cash application team to identify pain points, recurring issues, and process improvement opportunities, then coordinate with business
• Design and execute defect reduction programs targeting the highest-volume error categories in B2B AR, including billing inaccuracies, misapplied payments, duplicate charges, and invalid deductions
• Define and monitor key process metrics (cycle times, error rates, resolution rates, SLA adherence) and use data analysis to prioritize improvement initiatives and measure their impact
• Proactively identify incomplete or inaccurate financial data, determine root causes, execute fixes, and partner with relevant teams on long-term resolution
• Develop and implement solutions to resolve finance issues, diving deep into complex problems while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance

Qualifications

• 3+ years of tax, finance or a related analytical field experience
• 4+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
• 4+ years of applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses experience
• 4+ years of creating process improvements with automation and analysis experience
• 4+ years of identifying, leading, and executing opportunities to improve, automate, standardize or simplify finance or business tools and processes experience
• 3+ years of contributing to cross-functional initiatives that drive financial performance and strategy experience
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field, or Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of Accounts Receivable or Account Payable experience
