Responsibilities
- Act as the ASC 606 subject matter expert across SaaS, professional services, and usage-based revenue models
- Lead monthly revenue close
- Own the end-to-end billing process, ensuring invoices align with contract terms and revenue recognition requirements
- Partner with Sales Ops and Deal Desk on complex deal structures to ensure proper accounting treatment
- Partner with Sales, Legal, FP&A, and Customer Success on revenue recognition and contract guidance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA (active or in progress) preferred
- 3–6 years of progressive accounting experience, ideally within Big 4 or a large public accounting firm
- Strong ASC 606 expertise, including multi-element arrangements, variable consideration, SSP, and contract modifications
- Experience within a SaaS or recurring revenue environment
- Proficiency in NetSuite (ARM/Revenue Management a plus)
- Familiarity with Salesforce/CPQ data flows
Benefits
This position is hybrid, 1-2 days a week in the office and is paying $100-$120K plus bonus.
