Senior Revenue Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and book journal entries to ensure the appropriate revenue, cost and AR treatments
• Assist with monthly accounting close including analyzing fluctuations and providing meaningful financial reporting
• Understand relevant accounting principles and communicate such principles to peers and business partners, primarily in written form
• Analyze current procedures and make recommendations to develop and drive process improvements to achieve efficiency and scalability
• Operate with minimum supervision
• Support the external audit process and create improvements for any inefficiencies identified
• Afford internal controls and accounting procedures ensuring compliance with U.S. GAAP
• Internal reporting and special projects on request

Qualifications

• 3+ years of recent and relevant accounting experience
• Advanced MS Excel skills and experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with ASC 606 Revenue Recognition
• Master’s degree in accounting or equivalent field
• CPA
• Recent audit experience
• Experience in a technology or high-growth company operating in a SOX environment
• Experience with NetSuite
• Experience with Snowflake, SQL, Hex, and/or Metabase
