Senior Reporting Analyst
About the role
The Senior Reporting Analyst, Sourcing Extended Assortment serves as a lead analytics professional responsible for transforming complex data into actionable business insights that support strategic and operational decision-making. The role designs, develops, and maintains business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, data models, and analytical frameworks, to enable performance monitoring and business optimization across multiple functions. Working independently on complex assignments, the position partners with business leaders and technical teams to identify opportunities, evaluate business performance, and recommend data-driven solutions. The role leads analytical initiatives, influences decision-making through advanced insights and visualization techniques, and serves as a subject matter resource for business intelligence best practices, tools, and methodologies.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and enhancement of business intelligence solutions, including dashboards, reports, scorecards, data visualizations, and self-service analytics capabilities that provide actionable insights for business and functional leaders.
- Partner with stakeholders across business functions to gather requirements, translate business objectives into analytical solutions, and deliver data-driven recommendations that improve operational performance, customer outcomes, and strategic decision-making.
- Analyze complex and diverse data sets from multiple internal and external sources to identify trends, opportunities, risks, and performance drivers, applying advanced analytical techniques and business intelligence methodologies to solve challenging business problems.
- Develop and maintain data models, reporting frameworks, metrics definitions, and data quality standards that ensure consistency, accuracy, scalability, and effective governance of business intelligence assets and analytical outputs.
- Lead business intelligence projects and continuous improvement initiatives by providing technical guidance, mentoring less experienced analysts, influencing stakeholders, and driving adoption of reporting, visualization, and analytics best practices across the organization.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
- 3+ years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics roles.
- Experience with business intelligence analytics tools (e.g. R, Python, SQL), data visualization software (e.g. Tableau, Power BI), and Power Platform (e.g. PowerApps, Power Automate).
- Experience analyzing complex data from multiple sources and applying statistical, analytical, and data modeling techniques to identify trends, evaluate business performance, and recommend actionable solutions.
- Experience leading cross-functional analytics initiatives, gathering and translating business requirements, influencing stakeholders, and communicating complex findings to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Knowledge of business intelligence methodologies, data visualization principles, dashboard development, Key Performance Indicator (KPI) design, and reporting frameworks used to support operational and strategic decision-making.
Qualifications
- Must have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in reporting, business intelligence, or data analytics roles.
- Experience with business intelligence analytics tools, data visualization software, and Power Platform.
- Experience analyzing complex data from multiple sources and applying statistical, analytical, and data modeling techniques.

Pay
The anticipated base pay compensation range for this position is $87,200.00 – $145,300.00. This role is eligible for an incentive target of up to 10 % or $ , based on the achievement of individual and company performance objectives in accordance with the current terms of the incentive program which are subject to change.
Schedule
This is a Hybrid position requiring 50% of time onsite at either the Lake Forest, IL or Chicago, IL offices.
