About the role
The Senior Regional Vice President of Sales is responsible for managing, coaching, and training a team of Major market-focused sales directors. This role inspires a large team of sales professionals through exceptional coaching and development, with a proven track record of leading leaders and growing a sales organization.

Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to achieve company objectives and revenue targets.
- Establish and execute a sales goal for a specified region and set strategy to achieve staffing and revenue growth.
- Counsel each sales director on their monthly sales goals, weekly activity goals, and action plans if needed.
- Oversee the sales pipeline and forecast accuracy to ensure alignment with revenue goals.
- Hold leaders and sales reps accountable for sales revenue, activity standards, hiring for talent, career development, sales process, and day-to-day responsibilities of leading high-performing teams.
- Responsible for territory optimization and assigning quotas.
- Constructively handle (or supervise the handling of) customer complaints and establish a chain of command for all escalations.
- Contribute regional sales information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, and quality improvements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing, finance, and operations to optimize sales processes and drive efficiency.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to recruit, hire, and train diverse sales talent.
- Responsible for resolution of internal and external complaints when escalated.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Manage an 8-10 sales director team to maximize sales revenue.
- Regularly review team performance to ensure sales and quota responsibilities are on target at the Director and Account Executive level.
- Monitor individual sales performance metrics and KPIs, and take corrective actions as needed.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement within the sales team.
Requirements
- 7-10 years of proven experience with major account payroll, HR, time and attendance solutions at large, complex organizations.
- Proven track record of success in sales leadership roles, with at least 5 years of experience in a similar capacity.
- Proven track record in managing and directing a highly skilled, motivated, successful, and results-oriented sales force.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth.
- Strong leadership qualities with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics and requirements.
- Able to operate in a fast-paced and changing market environment.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $250,000 - $275,000 per year. Base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus and restricted stock unit grant based on individual performance.
