About the role
Kiddom is transforming K–12 education by bringing high-quality curriculum, instructional tools, and student analytics together in one coherent system. We are building Learning Intelligence Technology (LIT), a new category that gives educators the infrastructure to plan, teach, assess, and respond to student needs. A Senior Recruiter at Kiddom is a key building block enabling execution of key company strategic growth goals. This role will play a pivotal role in helping our organization engage and hire talent-dense professionals across teams. The role reports into the VP of Talent and is a team member of the Talent team, which partners with all business stakeholders and is equal parts strategic business partner and strategic recruiter. We thrive in a highly collaborative, low-ego team.
Responsibilities
- Own and quarterback multiple searches, from establishing position requirements up to building and managing a pipeline of active and passive talent
- Proactively conduct research and investigate new ideas to create innovative sourcing strategies
- Possess a strong focus on sourcing passive candidates through networking, cold calling, and complex internet searches and research (e.g., Boolean searches on various platforms)
- Interact with candidates on social platforms and craft outreach recruiting emails/messages
- Source active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals
- Act as a search expert for a functional area(s) by understanding functional hiring needs, position specifications, and search requirements
- Enable and partner with internal stakeholders to generate ideas, leverage resources, and share information that facilitates an effective search process
- Contribute to recruiting process, documentation, and trainings
- Develop talent pipelines for future ongoing hiring needs
- Measure conversion rates, including numbers of passive candidates who turn into applicants, get invited to interviews, get offers, and get hired
- Handle coordination tasks like scheduling and travel coordination
Requirements
- Proven progressive work experience as a Business or Technical Recruiter role (5+ years)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven ability to take initiative (driver mindset) and build strong productive relationships (partnership skills)
- Strong experience with sourcing techniques (e.g., recruiting on social platforms and crafting Boolean search strings)
- Tech-savvy, with a good understanding of technical terminology and deep knowledge about the SaaS technology industry in general; ability to quickly study and retain relevant information on the edtech industry, competitors, and current events
- Familiarity with HR databases and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATSs)
- Ability to generate a high volume/high-quality pipeline of candidates under very tight timelines
- Flexibility and willingness to support multiple functions/business units
- Quick learner with the ability to think fast, capable of understanding many different topics quickly
- Independent and self-motivated, able to perform consistent work without constant supervision
- High levels of collegiality with an above-average ability to influence leaders
Pay
$130,000 - $160,000 a year
