Senior Reconciliation Specialist

Responsibilities

• Aid in developing and documenting the reconciliation process for daily cash movements.
• Implement controls to ensure accurate balancing and reconciliation of the system of record.
• Assist in identifying requirements for new tools and utilities to enhance the efficiency of the reconciliation process.
• Identify root causes of discrepancies and implement effective solutions.
• Collaborate with production support engineers to address issues such as trade rejects, dividends posting, settlements, and unit outages.
• Assess potential risks associated with financial discrepancies and develop strategies to mitigate them.

Requirements

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
• Proficiency in relevant technical skills and software tools for reconciliation tasks.
• Understanding of basic accounting principles, ledgers, and reconciliation processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience in analytical roles or equivalent.
• Experience in a senior or supervisory role is preferred.
• Must be a US Citizen, Permanent Resident, or eligible to work in the US permanently.
