Senior Rate Analyst - Pricing & Tariffs

About the role

The Senior Rate Analyst supports the development, administration, and ongoing refinement of large load tariffs including customer-specific load forecasting, and alignment with regulatory and financial requirements. This role provides critical analytical support for the Company as FPL integrates new large load customers into systems, processes, fuel forecasts, and revenue models.

Key Responsibilities

• Takes lead role in the cost of service and rate design for functional areas (retail, wholesale or adjustment clause)
• Develops rate structures and prices to meet corporate objectives
• Prepares filings, including testimony and minimum filing requirements
• Obtains regulatory approval of the rates
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications

• High School Grad / GED
• Bachelor's or Equivalent Experience
• Experience: 4+ years
• Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor's - Business Administration, Bachelor's - Engineering
