Senior QA Automation Engineer – Java, Playwright, TestNG, SQL & API Testing NEW!

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts for complex web applications.
• Build and maintain automation frameworks using Java, TestNG, and Playwright.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, end-to-end, and workflow-driven automation testing.
• Develop and execute API test cases using JSON and REST services.
• Validate data using SQL queries and database testing techniques.
• Perform performance and load testing using JMeter, WAPT Pro, or similar tools.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and QA team members to understand requirements and improve software quality.
• Identify, document, and track software defects through resolution.
• Utilize GitHub Copilot to improve development efficiency and automation productivity.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain test documentation, automation reports, and quality metrics.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience testing complex web applications.
• 6+ years of automation testing experience using Java and TestNG.
• 5+ years of experience with SQL and database validation.
• 4+ years of experience with Playwright.
• 4+ years of experience with workflow-driven automation.
• 4+ years of experience using JMeter, WAPT Pro, or other performance/load testing tools.
• 3+ years of experience with GitHub Copilot.
• 3+ years of experience with JSON and API Testing.
• Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

• Experience with Zephyr Scale.
• Experience with Jira.
• Experience working with TSDS applications.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
