About the role
This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage workflows for new D&O / Management Liability business
- Evaluate and prioritize submissions, pricing risks for underwriting profit
- Drive comprehensive risk assessment to inform decisions on risk acceptance
- Determine coverage limits, premiums, and policy terms based on risk evaluations
- Negotiate terms with brokers and identify cross-sell opportunities
- Develop strategies for new business and maximize portfolio retention
- Manage broker relationships to enhance service and expand the book of business
- Provide training and support for new underwriters on guidelines and processes
Qualifications
- 7-8 years of experience in Property and Casualty Underwriting
- Bachelor’s degree required; Risk Management, Actuarial, or Business Administration preferred
- Must meet state P&C and/or surplus line licensing requirements
- CPCU or CIC certifications are preferred
Pay
$135,999 – $169,999 annually
