About the role

This role supports financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage workflows for new D&O / Management Liability business
  • Evaluate and prioritize submissions, pricing risks for underwriting profit
  • Drive comprehensive risk assessment to inform decisions on risk acceptance
  • Determine coverage limits, premiums, and policy terms based on risk evaluations
  • Negotiate terms with brokers and identify cross-sell opportunities
  • Develop strategies for new business and maximize portfolio retention
  • Manage broker relationships to enhance service and expand the book of business
  • Provide training and support for new underwriters on guidelines and processes

Qualifications

  • 7-8 years of experience in Property and Casualty Underwriting
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Risk Management, Actuarial, or Business Administration preferred
  • Must meet state P&C and/or surplus line licensing requirements
  • CPCU or CIC certifications are preferred

Pay

$135,999 – $169,999 annually
