Job Details
- Key Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Successfully complete comprehensive monthly financial reporting packages and assist the Accounting Manager with year-end audit processes.
- Portfolio Integration: Coordinate and streamline the accounting workflow for onboarding new properties into the portfolio.
- Oversight & Accuracy: Oversee the accuracy and productivity of all property management accounting activities, ensuring check runs and scheduled reports meet strict deadlines.
- Internal Controls: Ensure compliance with financial regulations, internal controls, and client-specific accounting policies.
- What You'll Bring
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or MBA designation is a strong asset.
- Experience: Minimum of 4 years of progressive property accounting experience, specifically within the commercial real estate industry.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Excel, Word, and MRI software.
- Industry Know-How: Direct experience with Third-Party Property Management accounting structures.
- Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills to collaborate effectively with local teams and stakeholders.
