About the Role

In this role, you will lead a team of professionals responsible for translating business requirements into effective solutions aligned with the client workplace model and real estate strategy. This includes space, occupancy planning, design, moves, FF&E, and data management across the client’s global portfolio. You will develop a strategic plan for growth and superior delivery, define immediate and long-term client goals, and ensure all space deliverables meet SLA and KPI requirements. The position requires strong partnership with the client organization, Facilities, and Project Directors to achieve account-level strategic objectives in a client-focused manner.

Responsibilities

  • Direct the overall planning and development of new space activities and current projects and programs.
  • Work closely with the account leadership team, other service lines, and client representatives on staffing, future projects, and maintaining client relationships.
  • Prepare executive-level presentations and reports illustrating background, conclusions, recommendations, and risks/benefits.
  • Conduct meetings to inform, consult, request action, and seek approval with account leadership and the client executive team.
  • Prepare operational presentations and reports on space pipeline, progress, challenges, opportunities, and recommendations.
  • Participate in structuring vendor selection and advise the client on final recommendations.
  • Evaluate existing and proposed project sites and facilities with respect to program requirements and ensure resolution of programming issues through project completion.
  • Ensure compliance with core program standards, including all C&W tools, processes, templates, and outputs standardized and customized to the client.
  • Demonstrate proactive solutioning through root cause analysis, solution development, and evaluation of options and alternatives.
  • Collaborate with Facilities, Project Management, and client Real Estate leadership for alignment and day-to-day operations.
  • Recommend adjustments to processes when misalignment is identified and enhance operational efficiency and service delivery.
  • Oversee the creation and maintenance of playbooks, templates, and tools.
  • Coach the team in providing effective space planning solutions, move management delivery, client relationship management, vendor relationship management, talent management, and resource utilization.
  • Direct the development of planning proposals, site assessments for space efficiencies, utilization metrics, and supply and demand studies.
  • Direct the delivery of project activities including relocations, restacks, renovations, and consolidations.
  • Observe corporate policies and procedures, implement government laws and regulations, and adhere to established rulings of government authorities.
  • Maintain high qualitative and quantitative standards of work performance across the globe through regional leaders.
  • Strive to improve skills and work knowledge and keep up to date in the field of specialization.
  • Provide leadership for recruiting, selection, onboarding, and retention of team members, including training, development, motivation, and discipline.
  • Socialize and obtain buy-in for organizational changes, team commitments, and expenditures in excess of approved budget and for forecasted growth.
  • Establish goals and objectives with timetables for the organizational unit and sub-units supervised.
  • Delegate necessary authority and responsibility for performance of assigned functions.
  • Develop, present, and maintain headcount budgets, forecasting, and gearing ratios.
  • Refine existing space services to meet potential client requirements and communicate these services to potential clients and other Cushman & Wakefield professionals.
  • Responsible for overall client Business Partner and Product Area relationships; meet regularly with client leads to evaluate team performance and identify areas for improvement.
  • Track and utilize client feedback data to create continual improvement cycles.
  • Own and oversee the operational program budget and forecasting; evaluate period spend and apply corrective action as needed to maintain desired budget variance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Architecture or a related field required, with 12+ years’ work experience in architecture, facilities management, or real estate.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint).
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and CAFM software (e.g., Serraview, iOffice).
  • Previous global experience is preferred.
  • Previous experience in managing a team of professionals.
  • Understands standards and guidelines for programming codes, procedures, documentation, project systems organization, and introducing new technology.
  • Excellent organization and documentation experience.
  • Anticipates, identifies, quantifies, and resolves problems in a timely and positive manner.
  • Consistently meets deadlines and completes tasks as defined.
  • Works with integrity, trust, and commitment, setting an example for others.

Pay

The compensation for this position ranges from $35,360.00 to $41,600.00, depending on factors such as geographic location, date of hire, total hours worked, job type, business line, and applicability of collective bargaining agreements. The company will not pay less than minimum wage for this role.
