About the role
We are seeking an experienced, client-focused Senior Project Manager to join our Ft. Myers team. In this role, you will manage and lead multi-discipline planning and design teams for large water and wastewater treatment facilities, collection systems, and distribution system projects in the Ft. Myers area. Our services include modeling, master planning studies, design, and construction administration of water, wastewater, stormwater facilities, and infrastructure.
This position offers in-office or hybrid working environments, providing flexible work options.
Responsibilities
- Manage multi-discipline projects within the water/wastewater/conveyance engineering and construction sector from early concept development through detailed design and construction.
- Build and manage relationships with key leaders, including major municipal clients in the Ft. Myers and SW Florida region.
- Serve as a leader of project teams, working effectively with technical specialists, team members, and delivery managers.
- Assist in preparing design drawings and specifications.
- Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and schedules while managing the firm’s risk.
- Provide high-level planning and programming analysis, including preparation of technical documents and reports.
- Be active in professional societies where clients or potential clients are members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent additional directly related experience).
- 10 years of related experience.
- PMP (PMI), CCM, or DBIA certification required (within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list).
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required (10% or less).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering.
- Professional Engineering License (PE) or ability to obtain within one year.
- Strong communication skills with internal and external clients.
- Previous experience and demonstrated performance in the project design and delivery of medium and large multi-disciplined wastewater and/or water treatment projects in SW Florida.
- Experience as a leader, mentor, and problem solver with a determination for excellence.
- Master’s Degree in Engineering or Science preferred.
Pay
Pay range: $120,973.00 – $211,723.00 USD. Compensation is determined by geographic location, role, relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and education/training. Additional discretionary bonuses may apply.
