Senior Project Manager - Water/Wastewater Services
About the role
We are seeking a Senior Project Manager with extensive experience in water and wastewater treatment facility, collection and distribution system, stormwater, and water resource projects in the Northeast FL area. This role involves managing multi-discipline projects, building relationships with key clients, leading project teams, and contributing to the company's mission.
Responsibilities
- Manage and lead multi-discipline projects from early concept development through detailed design and construction
- Build and manage relationships with key leaders including major municipal clients in the Jacksonville and Northeast FL region
- Serve as a leader of project teams and mentor junior staff, including coordinating and reviewing project assignments
- Work effectively with key technical specialists, project team members, and delivery managers
- Prepare, monitor, and manage project budgets and schedules while managing the firm's risk
- Contribute to high-level planning and programming analysis work including the preparation of technical documents/reports
- Provide assistance in new business development by contributing to strategic planning, marketing, and business operations planning
- Collaborate with sales staff to create proposals in response to client requests for qualifications (RFQs)
- Interface with clients and government officials to clarify technical questions and provide updates to upper management as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree
- 10 years of related experience
- PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months of hire or promotion onto the Approved Project Manager list
- Domestic and/or international travel may be required
Qualifications

- The frequency of travel is contingent on specific duties, responsibilities, and the essential functions of the position, which may vary depending on workload and project demands
- Equivalent additional directly related experience will be considered in lieu of a degree
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering
- Professional Engineering License (PE) or ability to obtain within one year
- Strong communication skills with internal and external clients
- Previous experience and demonstrated performance in the project design and delivery of medium and large multi-disciplined wastewater and/or water treatment projects in Florida
- Experience as a leader, mentor, and problem solver with a determination for excellence
- Masters Degree in Engineering or Science preferred

USD $120,973.00 - USD $211,723.00
