Senior Project Manager, Transportation

About the role

EXP is currently seeking a talented Senior Project Manager, Transportation for the Southern California market. In this role, you will be a part of the Civil team for Transportation projects based in Southern California (Los Angeles, San Diego, Orange County or San Bernardino).

Responsibilities

• Manage a wide variety and complexity of highway related projects
• Maintain project schedules and manage project financials including profit/loss responsibility and targeted direct margin
• Cook staff required for internal project teams, including directing, coordinating and reviewing work by others
• Perform design computations, oversee report, plan and specification development and sign and seal construction documents as necessary
• Oversee and approve invoicing/billing and manage project scope and secure change orders as necessary
• Work with other senior staff within Infrastructure & Transportation and other practices groups, as necessary, to execute project delivery
• Absorb and assist in the preparation of proposal and presentations for project pursuits
• Develop and maintain client relationships

Requirements

• Bachelor of Science or higher in Engineering. Preferably in civil, transportation or environmental engineering.
• In depth knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• 12 plus years of experience.
• PE License in the State of California
• Strong technical design background in road and highway design and Project Management
• Experience with local City and County agency standards and projects.
• Excellent oral and written communications skills
• Basic knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel and MS Project

Benefits

• The pay range for this role is $175,000 to $225,000.
• Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.
