Senior Project Manager (PMP Certification REQUIRED)

About the role

Anvaya Solutions is seeking multiple Senior Project Managers for a State client in Sacramento, California. Candidates must possess:

• A minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive, and increasingly responsible experience applying PM principles, methods, techniques, and tools.
• At least four (4) years of that experience must have been as a senior PM of one or more large or complex IT projects.
• A Bachelor’s degree (certification must be submitted).
• A Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certificate from the Project Management Institute (PMI), which is required and cannot be substituted with additional experience (certification must be submitted).
• Minimum of four (4) years of experience in any combination listed below:
• Providing Information Technology (IT) Consulting Services in Project Management
• Managing IT Projects through the Project Management Lifecycle
• Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
• Working on Projects, Implementations and Prioritization Strategies

References: Candidate must provide a minimum of three (3) references from prior engagements who are able to confirm your knowledge, skills, and experience. References must include firm name, telephone number, e-mail address and role of a contact person. Additionally, dates of service, candidate’s role, project name and description of services provided are requested.

Note: Reference contacts MUST:

• Be an individual that was the staff's project manager or an individual who had oversight responsibility for the offered staff's performance on the project;
• Be able to provide an objective assessment of the offered staff's performance.
