Job Description
Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of pharmaceutical construction projects across an active client campus environment.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, including ground-up developments and complex interior fit-outs.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing plans, procurement, and risk management strategies.
Cover all phases of construction from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful project outcomes.
Cook subcontractors, consultants, architects, engineers, and client stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead utility infrastructure coordination, site logistics planning, and campus-wide construction integration efforts.
Manage complex MEP installations, commissioning activities, and quality assurance processes.
Review and negotiate contracts, change orders, RFIs, submittals, and project documentation.
Monitor project financial performance and proactively identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
Ensure adherence to safety, quality, regulatory, and client-specific requirements.
Mentor and develop Project Managers, Assistant Project Managers, and field operations personnel.
Requirements
- 10-15+ years of construction project management experience with a strong background in ground-up construction.
- Proven success managing pharmaceutical, commercial, industrial, institutional, or highly technical construction projects.
- Extensive experience overseeing utility-intensive scopes including underground infrastructure, site utilities, and campus-wide utility coordination.
- Strong MEP background with the ability to manage complex mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and commissioning activities.
- Experience managing projects within active pharmaceutical, manufacturing, healthcare, or mission-critical environments is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large project teams and coordinate multiple stakeholders.
- Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Proficiency with industry-standard software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
