Responsibilities

  • Forecast and analyze construction costs, exposures, and profits.
  • Develop a schedule for all phases of the build.
  • Aid in obtaining permits and ensure compliance with required deadlines.
  • Develop and implement project-specific processes and procedures.
  • Lead, direct, and coordinate the day-to-day management and construction activities.
  • Manage project costs through ongoing evaluations of labor, materials, and equipment.
  • Interface with various company departments to resolve issues.
  • Act as the liaison between the client, the company, subcontractors, and government officials.
  • Ensure adherence to all safety measures, procedures, and requirements.
  • Ensure substantial completion as per specifications.
  • Aid in the submission of record drawings, maintenance manuals, and warranties for a smooth closeout process.

What It Takes

  • 7–10 years of relevant work experience, including pharmaceutical, healthcare, or other critical environment construction.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Science, or a related field.
  • Osha 30 Certification.
