Senior Project Manager (MEP) / $90 - $100k DOE / Charleston, SC

Responsibilities

• Lead the efforts to maintain long term owner direct relationships with assigned key accounts.
• Perform site surveys and plan reviews to prepare estimates.
• Issue purchase orders for equipment, materials, and subcontractors to ensure timely delivery without jeopardizing the project schedule.
• Develop a project plan, coordinate with field superintendents, clients, general contractors, and subcontractors to meet project timelines.
• Ensure that the right number of skilled workers and appropriate levels of expertise are available for each project.
• Update manpower projection sheets to help field superintendents plan their resources.
• Maintain quality control by ensuring that labor and materials meet client specifications through site visits, drawing reviews, and effective communication.
• Prepare monthly billings, job cost reports, and manpower requirements to maintain profit margins according to estimates.
• Prepare final as-built drawings, develop operation and maintenance manuals, establish warranty dates, complete punch list items, and collect final billings upon project closeout.

Qualifications, Experience And Education

• Absolutely required: 5+ years of experience in mechanical project management.
• Strong coordination skills between mechanical and other trades.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, AutoCAD, and project management software.
• A strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
• Construction experience is a plus.

Pay

$90,000.00 - $100,000.00 Base (DOE)
