Senior Project Manager- MEP

About the role

Suffolk is seeking a Senior Project Manager-MEP to lead project administration, including budget updates, change order management, project closeout, and subcontractor relationships.

Responsibilities

• Budget Updates: Produce forecasts, track costs, and manage exposure.
• Change Order Management: Track PCOs, prepare status reports, and manage contract allowances.
• Project Close Out: Implement close-out plans, manage cash flow, and review hold reports.
• Owner/Sub Requisition Process: Ensure timely approvals and produce schedules of values.
• Cash Management: Maintain cash flow, review requisitions, and produce cash models.
• Meeting Management: Establish meeting regiments and manage agendas.
• Subcontractor Relationships: Build and manage relationships with subcontractors.
• Risk Management: Complete buy-out processes, write notices, and address risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applicable discipline with 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Excellent business judgment and organizational skills.
• Strong command of contract and legal provisions.
• Ability to analyze financial trade-offs and manage competing priorities.
• Judgment to escalate issues and a strong sense of urgency.
• Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
• Team leadership and interpersonal skills.
