Senior Project Manager - Federal Programs

About the role

This role will lead complex federal programs within a project management environment, with responsibility for guiding scope, delivery, staffing, and client relationships. The position partners closely with technical teams and business development stakeholders to support successful execution and growth. The ideal candidate will bring deep engineering project leadership experience and the ability to balance delivery excellence with strong client service in a construction-focused setting. This is an on-site opportunity based in Alexandria, VA.

Responsibilities

• Develop project scope and fee quotations
• Serve as the primary client liaison and manage the project team
• Perform technical discipline tasks for assigned projects
• Implement the project delivery plan and supervise the project team
• Oversee project staffing and mentor project staff
• Assist with business development and client relationship building
• Recruit and develop project staff as needed

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
• 12 years of relevant experience
• 4 years managing engineering projects
• Professional Engineer (PE) certification preferred
• Master’s degree in a related field preferred

Pay

$207,686 – $331,758 annually
