About the role

Stantec is a global leader in sustainable engineering, architecture, and environmental consulting. The Federal Buildings group is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our integrated buildings practice in Honolulu, HI. This position offers the opportunity to manage projects ranging from $30 million to over $1 billion in construction value, utilizing sound judgment, strong interpersonal skills, and proven project delivery methods.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver quality documents.
  • Develop project-specific management plans, execution plans, communications plans, design quality control plans, risk management plans, etc.
  • Plan, organize, and direct the work throughout the life of the project to successfully deliver the project to the client.
  • Lead project management and execution, promoting design excellence and sustainability.
  • Manage cost-based, project financial management utilizing Earned Value Management (EVM).
  • Maintain client relationship. Lead stakeholder meetings and maintain all project records.
  • Assist the Principal-in-Charge in the negotiation and development of project agreements.
  • Develop and manage project budget, schedule, and overall work plan to realize target financial performance.
  • Oversee development of building documentation in modeling software such as Autodesk Revit, AutoCAD.
  • Mentor Assistant Project Managers and motivate project teams.
  • Ensure all health, safety, security, and environmental requirements are followed.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or engineering.
  • Must be a United States-registered architect or PE (Professional Engineer).
  • Minimum of 15 years of project management experience in both AE Services and Design-Build projects, including supporting GC construction phases.
  • Familiar with the Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC).
  • Experience with NAVFAC and USACE.
  • Knowledge of managing all phases of AE projects, including project delivery methods.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Track record of delivering projects on time and budget.
  • Skilled in facilitating internal and external project team meetings, monitoring, tracking, and controlling outcomes to resolve issues, conflicts, and prioritization.
