About the role
Stantec is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Civil Engineer to lead Power sector projects. This position will join Stantec's Environmental Services team, providing expertise in various areas including electric transmission, project access roads, civil and stormwater design, and solar site development.
Responsibilities
- Serve as Sr. Project Manager or Project Technical Lead for Power Sector engineering projects, reviewing and sealing projects.
- Plan, organize, and manage project deliverables to ensure on-time delivery, technical quality, and within budget.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and teams.
- Support and ensure implementation of HSSE policies.
- Develop and maintain positive client relationships.
Requirements
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Customer-focused to understand and appropriately respond to external and internal client's business needs.
- Effective resource planning, results delivery, and staying current with relevant technology and innovation.
- Strong understanding of federal and state regulations and permitting requirements.
- Proven ability to maintain and establish effective working relationships.
- Knowledge of documents related to requests for proposals and invitations for bid.
- Thrives in a team environment, mentor to staff, advisor to clients and management team.
Credentials
- Bachelor of Science (minimum) in Civil, Water Resources, Biological Systems, Environmental Engineering, or other closely related degree required.
- Minimum of 10 years prior experience in a similar role required.
- Professional Licensure (P.E.) in NC, SC, VA, WV, MD desirable.

$107,100.00 - $160,700.00 Annually
