Senior Project Manager - Cyber Security
About the role
The role of Sr. Project Manager – Cyber Security will provide project management support for the Global Information Security team and act as the point of accountability to plan, direct, and manage technology proof-of-concepts and deployments for large scale, complex projects. The candidate will ensure that goals and objectives are accomplished with quality results, within established time frames and budget, and meet customer and/or business needs.
Responsibilities
- Lead multiple cybersecurity projects spanning multiple security domains simultaneously; effectively managing prioritization of time, resource, and scope
- Drive complex projects from concept to operations, articulating processes to help team succeed including not only managing risks but predicting them
- Create and track project plans by monitoring and updating cross-functional team members of tasks and deliverables to ensure timely completion
- Help teams to get to the finish line collaboratively. Provide timely guidance and feedback (matrix reporting)
- Escalate issues to others with more experience, authority, and/or span of control when necessary
- Communicate effectively and influence/negotiate internal and external stakeholders regarding key project objectives, scope, funding, timeline, dependencies, and risks to stakeholders
- Institute effective project management processes, tools, and best practices to bring efficiency and support collaboration
Qualifications
- 5-7 years cross-functional, cross-disciplinary project management and business analysis experience for global mid-to-large sized corporations with geographically dispersed population
- Demonstrated knowledge of the key components of project management (e.g. scope, time, cost, quality, human resources, communication, risk, integration) and associated tools and methodologies
- Experience with cyber security including design, implementation, and operationalizing of cybersecurity systems. Documenting requirements, working with vendors, creating knowledge articles, and executing transition to security operations team

- Strong technology background as well as excellent planning, communication and execution skills required to effectively collaborate and lead architects, engineers, operations staff, and other technology and business professionals to deliver defined objectives

We expect the annual salary for this position to range between $140,000 – $150,000, depending on location and level of relevant experience, plus discretionary bonus.
Work Schedule & Location
This role will work a hybrid schedule in our Pasadena, CA office, 4 days/week
