Senior Project Engineer - Paint

About the role

We are seeking a new model project leader for North American Paint plant departments, responsible for managing new model flow, achieving project targets, and enhancing manufacturing characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with Paint and Engineering teams to confirm designs
• Prepare department summaries
• Present evaluations to leadership
• Collaborate across Design, Engineering, and Business teams to reflect factory characteristics and manage product specification changes
• Understand plant processes to inform new model development
• Develop project targets aligned with factory and business goals
• Ensure timely delivery within budget and quality standards
• Lead cross‑functional relationships
• Conduct daily stakeholder meetings
• Report on project status, budget, and manpower needs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant experience
• At least 2+ years in new model development or manufacturing (preferably Paint)
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Paint knowledge, CAD tools, project management, and interpersonal skills
