Senior Project Engineer - Paint

About the role

Seeking a project leader for new model development at the North American Paint plant, responsible for managing standard workflows, achieving project targets, and improving manufacturing characteristics.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating with Paint and Production Engineering teams to confirm designs and prepare status summaries for leadership evaluations.
• Collaborating with Design, Engineering, and Business units to incorporate past model insights and factory constraints into development processes.
• Negotiating product specifications, understanding plant capabilities, and developing project targets aligned with business goals.
• Creating action plans, tracking deliverables, and ensuring projects meet cost, quality, and timeline requirements.
• Building cross-functional relationships within departments and with suppliers, leading meetings, and reporting on project progress and budgets.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or relevant experience (Paint preferred).
• Minimum of 2+ years in new model development or manufacturing.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, CAD tools, and knowledge of paint processes.
• Eligible to work without sponsorship.

Schedule

On-site work with some travel, primarily in an office environment, with occasional visits to production facilities. Overtime may be required.
