Senior Program Quality Manager
About the role
MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Senior Program Quality Manager to join our team in Herndon, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Establishes the overarching quality management system (QMS) and serves as the final authority for enterprise-level quality systems and process improvement initiatives.
- Authorize internal audit schedules and validate the effectiveness of corrective actions across the enterprise.
- Approve the allocation of resources to ensure compliance with quality standards such as ISO 9001, AS9100, and CMMI while maintaining strategic oversight of program performance metrics including developing, maintaining, and providing inputs to program performance dashboards.
- Aligns Quality Governance Frameworks with SOCPAC and Mission Partner requirements and theater-specific operational standards.
- Authorize the quality gates and formalized review checkpoints ensuring data integrity and contractual compliance for all ILS2 deliverables to ensure precision in logistics and sustainment reporting.
- Lead the response to external Government audits and third-party audits as required.
- Serve as the Principal Advisor to the PM for risk mitigation and process optimization in the Pacific AOR.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
Qualifications
The minimum qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Quality Management, Business, or a related field, and 12+ years of position-relevant experience. Demonstrated experience in formal document approval and acting as the final Technical Authority for enterprise-level quality systems is also required.
Preferred qualifications include a Six Sigma Black Belt or ASQ Certified Quality Manager (CQM) certification, a Master’s degree in a related field, and experience managing quality programs for USSOCOM or USPACOM expeditionary contracts.

Physical Requirements
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time. Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
