Position Summary

Oversees the Vacuum Cell Technology portfolio within Quantum Sensing Solutions, managing development and production of advanced vacuum and vapor cell technologies used across Infleqtion’s quantum applications and commercial product lines. Directs internal R&D, customer-funded development programs, and commercial manufacturing while ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and technical commitments are met.

Responsibilities

  • Defines execution objectives, growth plans, and delivery expectations in a fast-paced technical environment
  • Serves as the primary contact for customers, executive leadership, and internal teams
  • Manages delivery metrics, profitability, customer satisfaction, schedules, and technical milestones
  • Learns and leads engineering, manufacturing, operations, and subcontractor teams to achieve program objectives
  • Develops and maintains program plans, budgets, schedules, resource allocations, and execution baselines
  • Identifies risks, mitigates issues, manages opportunities, and drives corrective actions
  • Ensures adherence to contractual requirements, regulatory standards, company policies, and ethical business practices
  • Supports capture planning, proposal development, follow-on opportunities, and strategic resource planning
  • Provides clear program status updates, resolves escalations, and drives effective decision-making

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus 10+ years of relevant experience; advanced degrees may substitute for experience; related technical experience may substitute for education
  • Accreditation: Degree must be from an accredited institution recognized by the US Department of Education
  • Quality systems: Experience working within ISO 9001 or AS9100 environments
  • Product development: Familiarity with fast-paced development cycles, New Product Introduction, and Design for Manufacturing
